FAQs

Who are these programs for?

Each program is designed for people with spicy brains seeking support in work and leadership. Spicy Brains Lead Differently is a closed program exclusively for people who own their own business, whether as a solopreneur, fractional, consultant, or organization leader. Typically these leaders have a social mission that drives their work, regardless of whether the formal legal structure is an NPO or B-corp. Spicy Brains Get Stuff Done and Spicy Brains Learn Fast are open to anyone who knows their brain works differently, regardless of formal label.

We hit the topics that are top of mind for our audience: procrastination, time-management, attention, decision-making, masking, goal-setting with a differently wired brain, and more. Each program covers different topics in more detail--look into each of them to learn more.

It depends on the program. Given Becca's background in social impact, it's important to us to make sure there's support available for every budget. The monthly mini-workshops are always free, there are discount codes available for Spicy Brains Get Stuff Done for newsletter subscribers and mini-workshop attendees, and Spicy Brains Lead Differently has different price points for leaders at different stages in their business.

Spicy Brains Learn Fast are bite-sized workshops that are 30-45 minutes long and happen once a month. Spicy Brains Get Stuff Done is twice a week for 6 weeks, and Spicy Brains Lead Differently is once a week for 12.

Very! Most of us with brains that work differently need the chance to really wrestle with our questions and collaborate with other people who get what we're navigating in order to find what works for us. Also, we can't stand just being a talking head.

Some of us love the playfulness and flexibility of the term "neurospicy."

Others feel it dismisses the very real challenges that come with having a brain that works differently.

I use the term because, for me, the metaphor of having several different spices to work with in my mental spice cabinet has been empowering in learning how to work with my brain.

But some of my clients dislike the term, and I respect that. The terminology can flex to fit you.

Why "Spicy"?
